Becoming an effective change agent: lessons for cultivating a sustainable mindset

In order to foster a more sustainable world, we need widespread shifts in our daily habits and lifestyles, particularly in the U.S. How can we, as individuals, make choices to contribute to those shifts? Individuals are important influencers in our social circles, and often times communicating our knowledge and ideas to others can make us seem pushy, judgmental, or crazy. How can we tap into what we know about the ways in which people act in different situations to foster support and action for sustainable behaviors? What are the secrets to becoming an effective agent of change?
