UWL Jazz Big Bands Fall Concert

The UWL Jazz Orchestra and Jazz Ensemble will perform a joint concert of classic big band pieces, Latin-jazz, and contemporary compositions. The concert will be directed by Dr. Jeff Erickson, UWL Director of Jazz Studies.

Among the composers featured in the concert are Tom Garling, Michael Philip Mossman, James Miley and Gordon Goodwin. Each group also features a vocalist. Cassandra Quinn will be singing three songs from the Ella Fitzgerald songbook with the Jazz Orchestra, while Michael Myers will sing songs associated with Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis, Jr. with the Jazz Ensemble.

The event is free and open to the public!
