Anatomy Memorial Ceremony celebrates body donors’ contribution to education at UW-La Crosse

Anatomy Memorial Ceremony

Students, faculty, and staff of the Health Profession, Biology, and Exercise and Sports Science departments are hosting an event of remembrance, thanks, and appreciation of the people and their families of those who have donated their bodies to science. These people cared deeply about advancing health care education and research and made a personal choice that honors the University of Wisconsin La Crosse students with the rare opportunity to explore and gain a more meaningful understanding of anatomy and physiology through the dissection of human cadavers. These donations are from people that were, and are, respected members of the community, and now we wish to remember them for the unique and great opportunity that their donation made to us and health education. The memorial event will entail performers, speakers, and food. Please come and help us show our appreciation of this great gift.
