Stole and Recognition Ceremony

Graduating veteran and current service member students will receive a special navy blue stole to be worn during Graduation and a UWL Coin in recognition of their accomplishment.  The student will have the opportunity to present a Coin to a faculty or staff member who had a significant impact on their education.

The Veteran Stole, which is worn during Graduation as an acknowledgement of one’s military service, symbolizes accomplishment, hard work, dedication, and honor.
