SSP Locally-Grown Scholarship Breakfast

A Celebration of Self-Sufficiency Program Students & Student-Parent Accomplishments

The annual Locally-Grown Scholarship Breakfast recognizes the graduates of the Self-Sufficiency Program who are attending area colleges.  SSP is a program of the Women's, Gender and Sexuality Studies Department for adults who are interested in going to college.  Designed with single-parents in mind, SSP receives generous support from the wider La Crosse community for scholarships and other program needs. The Breakfast is open to SSP donors and friends, including students, staff, and faculty from UW-L, Viterbo and Western who support SSP and area student-parents. The 2019 Breakfast Speaker is Kemesha Harper from The Parenting Place. RSVPs are required by October 11.
