PlusOne: Classroom Engagement

PlusONE: This workshop series is called "PlusONE" as the focus of the workshop series is making course edits one at a time.  

Audience: Instructors new to UWL during the AY2019-2020

INFORMATION -- It works like this. Each workshop has a theme. Each workshop will include a 30 minute presentation from CATL staff (9:00-9:30am) of information, tips, tricks, templates and more about edits that can be made related to the theme. Then, you get to decide what one change you'd like to make to your course. You use the next two hours (9:30-11:30am) to complete that change/make those edits for a Spring 2020 course. You'll be in a space with colleagues there to support you and CATL staff to assist. 

THIS EVENT --- Plus One: Classroom Engagement 
This day will focus on different strategies to break up your class period and interject activities to gauge and improve student learning.
