PS: Let's Talk

Scripted Play Reading of "Population: 485"

“PS: Let’s Talk" is a unique partnership between The Pump House, The La Crosse Public Library and UW-La Crosse’s Murphy Library.  It’s designed as a “page to stage” experience of thoughtful listening and conversation based on scripted play readings.

The 10-part series brings the community together for their next reading from 7-9 p.m. Friday, February 21, at The Pump House, 119 King St. Participants will listen to Michael Perry's “Population: 485," which takes place in New Auburn, WI and is a comic and sometimes heartbreaking true tale leavened with quieter meditations on an overlooked America.

The play is directed by Jess Witkins and will be followed by a moderated talk-back. Open your mind; use your voice!
