Practice Career Fair for UWL Students

Students will have the opportunity to meet with Career Services staff to prepare for the Spring Career & Internship Fair. Unlike an in-person fair, there will be no “lines” of students during this virtual fair. Students will be able to interact during the fair in two ways: through Group Sessions and 1:1 recruiter/student sessions.

Group Sessions

  • Meet with a Career Advisor for 30 minute group session. Group sessions allow several students to meet with a Career Advisor at the same time. 

1:1 Sessions

  • Meet with a Career Advisor individually for a 10 minute session. 

Reasons to attend the Practice Career Fair:

  • Practice your elevator pitch. A personal elevator pitch is a captivating introductory summary of yourself, what you do, what your interests are, and what sets you apart from others.
  • Test out Handshake technology.
  • Ease your nerves and increase confidence.
  • Have your Career Fair related questions answered by our Career Advisors.
