Veteran Stole Ceremony

UWL Stole Ceremony for Graduating Veterans

(Interim Chancellor Betsy Morgan / Interim Provost Karl Kunkel / Dr. Sandy Grunwald 
are all verified scheduled to attend)

During the Stole and Recognition Ceremony, the veteran students will receive a special navy-blue stole. The Veteran Stole, which is worn during Graduation as an acknowledgement of one’s military service, symbolizes accomplishment, hard work, dedication, and honor. The student will also receive a UWL Challenge Coin in recognition of their accomplishment and will have an opportunity to present a coin to a faculty or staff member who had a significant impact on their education.
