Professional history

Dr. DeBoer completed research and clinical post-doctoral fellowships, respectively, at Washington University in St. Louis and at the Johns Hopkins Kennedy Krieger Institute in Baltimore, Maryland, prior to joining the faculty at UWL. Dr. DeBoer has been active on the board of the Wisconsin School Psychologists Association since 1997, serving in elected executive roles for about half that time. Dr. DeBoer is licensed to work as a school psychologist in Wisconsin and Minnesota.

Dr. DeBoer currently presents to schools and at conferences on working with traumatized children in educational settings and on conducting functional behavior assessments.

Education

Dr. DeBoer completed her PhD in Educational Psychology in 1994 with a specialty in School Psychology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
