Chun-Lung Huang

Brief biography

Dr. Nic Huang is an Assistant Professor of Information Systems at the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse (UWL). He received his Ph.D. in Management Information Systems from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee (UWM). After his two-year visiting assistant professor positing at James Madison University, Virginia, Dr. Huang returned to UWM teaching as a lecturer, and recently accepted a tenure position at UWL. He has taught subjects, such as introduction to information systems, telecommunication, cyber security, e-Business, database, Visual Basic programming, and introduction to supply chain and operation management to more than 6,000 students over the years. His research interests and projects include in three major area, human computer interaction, cyber security, and healthcare. He enjoys traveling (backpacked to Europe twice for total of 14 weeks, and southeast Asia), playing basketball (even though his knees cannot take it anymore), and “inhaling” all different international cuisines.
