Brief biography
Born and raised in the City of Chicago and its suburbs, I attended Winona State University in the early 80's and fell in love with the driftless region, where I ultimately raised my (now adult) children.

Teaching history
I have taught reading and writing courses for grades six through college for the past 38 amazing years. I have also facilitated teacher education courses and supervised student-teachers. I have also enjoyed working with international college students for the past ten years. Students keep me young at heart!
