Brief biography

I grew up in Wisconsin and am a graduate of UWL for both my Bachelors (Psychology) and Masters (School Psychology) degrees.

I have worked for 31 years in public education, across K-12 settings as a school psychologist. I spent most of my career in the School District of Holmen.

I met my husband of 31 years at UWL. We have 2 grown children and 2 grandchildren.

I enjoy reading, yoga, walking and time with my family (including my 2 dogs).

Teaching history

The fall of 2025 marks teaching my first formal classes at UWL.

I have been a practicum site supervisor to UWL School Psychology graduate students for the past 28+ years.

Professional history

My first job as a School Psychologist was in Vancouver, Washington where I worked at the elementary school level for two years.

I returned to Wisconsin in 1996 to work as a school psychologist in Viroqua, where I was at the middle and high school setting for five years.

I spent seven years working at Holmen High School, and then finished my career as a school psychologist at Viking Elementary School in Holmen, where I worked for the past seventeen years.
