Drop-in tutoring is free and available to all students. Our tutors will support you in your learning journey. We are here for anyone who wants to meet people from their classes, ask questions in a no-judgement space, learn better study habits, or just work in a space where they feel motivated and supported.

Preparing for tutoring
How should I prepare for tutoring?
There's nothing you have to do before coming to tutoring!
If you want to feel more prepared, here are a few suggestions:
- Bring a homework assignment you're working on and work on it with a tutor nearby to help you when you're stuck.
- Bring your notes and put post-its on topics that confuse you so the tutors can help you make sense of them.
- Bring a list of questions that stumped you while you were studying or practicing for your class.
- Bring a list of questions to ask your professor who's holding student hours in the Tutoring & Learning Center.
- Remember that our tutors are not experts - they are students like you who've done well in their classes. They might make mistakes and they are not homework checkers but they will definitely help you get much better at learning the subject they tutor.
