Youth Are UWL
Youth Protection is excited to launch the Youth Are UWL Campaign in Fall 2026 to celebrate the many youth programs, camps, events, and learning opportunities that make UWL a welcoming place for young people. Over three weeks, the campaign will feature
- a program Spotlight Series
- trivia and swag giveaway
- youth safety and resource awareness information
- drop-in event where individuals can meet the Youth Protection team, ask questions, and learn more about supporting safe and positive youth experiences at UWL.
Join us as we celebrate the programs, people, and partnerships that help youth learn, grow, and thrive.
Youth Participant Giveaway
As part of the campaign, we are offering a prize drawing for youth participating in UWL programming (late July to August). The prize is a gift basket valued at approximately $70. Participation is completely optional.
Parents/Guardians: To enter your child(ren) in the drawing, your consent is required. Participants will only be entered after parent/guardian permission has been received. Entries must be submitted via Forms by the 8/30/26 deadline.

Youth Protection Trivia & Giveaway
What: Kick off the Youth Are UWL campaign by testing your knowledge with four quick youth protection trivia questions. Participants who complete the trivia will be entered for a chance to win exclusive Youth Protection swag.

Youth Programs @ UWL: What You Need to Know Drop-In Session
What: Have questions about youth programs at UWL? Stop by this informal drop-in session to learn more about the Youth Protection Policy, program requirements, and best practices for creating safe and supportive environments for youth. Members of the Youth Protection team will be available to answer questions and provide guidance.
When: Thursday, October 1, 2026; 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Where: 3125 Student Union

What: Explore locations across campus to discover "Did You Know" fun facts and learn interesting information about youth protections and youth programs along the way. Find all the fun facts across campus!
