About the Outdoor and Indoor Ropes Course: The UWL Adventure Program consists of an indoor and outdoor ropes course. The outdoor course  to has nine high elements and eight low elements. The indoor course  includes 6 high elements and multiple portable low elements. The high course is composed of telephone poles, cables, ropes, climbing gear, rigging hardware, and safety systems (belay system).

Available To: The UW-Lacrosse Adventure Challenge Course is a series of activities designed for individual and group participation regardless of age, physical limitation and ability level.  The high ropes course elements are accessible to all .

Mission of Ropes Course Programs: Programs concentrate on individual and group skill development by presenting a series of activities that involve physical and emotional risk and the opportunity to succeed (or sometimes fail) within a supportive group atmosphere. Participants develop skills in communication, problem solving, decision making, trust, as well as a strong sense of self-worth and accomplishment. Adventure education also promotes calculated risk-taking, enhances leadership and management skills, facilitates organizational change, and builds effective team cohesion.
