(STudent Advising Registration and Transition)

START (STudent Advising, Registration, and Transition) is a program that first-year students are required to attend. At START, first-year students will receive information about attending UW-La Crosse and academic advising to assist them in selecting their first-semester courses. Students will register for their first semester classes during START.
