UWL Campus Thread

The Campus Thread is UWL's brand new FREE clothing closet, run by and for students. We are located off-campus, near Angell Hall, at Common Ground | 1334 Pine Street, La Crosse. We have sweaters, coats, shoes, pants, denim, winter gear, socks, bags, bedding, and more!

We are beginning to accept donations. You can drop off your laundered donations at Campus Climate (1120 Centennial Hall) on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9:00am-4:00pm. Thank you for your donations.

Campus Thread Hours

The Campus Thread is open Fridays (during the academic semesters) from 10:00 am-2:00 pm. Come to Common Ground | 1334 Pine Street, La Crosse, WI. We will be physically distancing and limited the number of people in the Thread at a time. 

The Campus Thread has created Mobile Campus Threads in offices around campus to provide greater access to clothing. Some Mobile Campus Threads are set up with more intentional clothing options. If you are wanting more, come to the Campus Thread on Fridays at Common Ground. 

Academic Advising Center & Career Services
The AACCS Mobile Campus Thread has clothing options available for your next job interview or career change. Come to 1209 Centennial Hall to check out what pieces are available. 

PRIDE Center
The Pride Center Mobile Campus Thread has clothing options available for all. If you want to try something new, come to the PRIDE Center at 2216 Student Union.
