There are a few ways to get started with services through the Disability Resource Center. We suggest enrolling in the DRC Orientation Course or starting your application using the directions below! We look forward to answering any questions you might have about the DRC! 

Disability Resource Center New Student Registration Instructions

  1. Starting on the Disability Resource Center Welcome page, click the blue button that says “DRConnect – New Student Registration”  
  2. Log in using your UWL email/NET ID and password 
  3. Select the “Start New Application” button to begin your application. You can save your progress and return to the application at any time.  
  4. Fill out the "Overview” page and select “Create Application Draft” 
  5. Respond to the questions. If you have documentation you’d like to submit, choose “Save and Upload Documentation.” If not, skip to step 7. 
  6. On the Files page, upload any documentation you have by selecting “Choose File” or dragging and dropping the file to that box. Give the file a name and then click “Upload File.” Repeat until all your files are uploaded, then proceed to step 7. 
  7. Select “Proceed to Final Review” 
  8. Select “Submit Application.” 

 Returning to a Draft Application

  1. Starting on the Disability Resource Center Welcome page, click the blue button that says “DRConnect – New Student Registration”  
  2. Log in using your UWL email/NET ID and password 
  3. You will be prompted to "Continue Application".
    1. You can update answers to your questionnaire
  4. Select "Save and Upload Documentation" 
  5. If you'd like to, upload documentation, this is not required to submit your application. 
  6. Select "Proceed to Final Review" 
  7. Select "Submit Application"

Meet with your advisor

Students must complete an intake appointment with their advisor to discuss the accommodation process. After receiving confirmation that your registration has been processed and you have been assigned an advisor, please call 608.785.6900 or email your advisor directly to schedule a time that is convenient for you.
