ADA Accessibility for Event Materials
To create an inclusive, welcoming experience for all learners, UW–La Crosse follows Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Title II, Subpart H — Web and Mobile Accessibility, effective April 24, 2026. These requirements apply to any event materials shared online or distributed electronically.
Presenter Responsibilities for Shared Materials
If you plan to share electronic materials with participants and students in conferences, events, workshops, courses, you are responsible for ensuring your files—such as PowerPoint presentations, Word documents, and PDFs—meet ADA Title II accessibility standards before submission. This helps ensure all participants can fully access and engage with your content.
