Nancy holds a bachelor's degree in vocational education and has developed and taught medical assistant programs.

Leanne Walls, CPC, CHC, has over twenty years of experience in coding, compliance and practice management. She currently manages a large multi-specialty group practice with over 100 physicians. She has contributed education support in reviewing curriculum, writing practice management related articles and presenting on coding and practice management topics.

Rachael Delekta

Rachael Delekta is an MBA in Healthcare Administration and Certified Electronic Health Records Specialist. Rachael has been in the health care field for over ten years. She has worked mostly on the insurance side of things, as a customer service manager for dental insurance, a claims and customer service coach, and a workers' compensation case management biller and auditor. She works daily with medical records and healthcare software.

Carline Dalgleish has worked in medical office administration for over 30 years. She holds a bachelor's degree in Business Information Systems, a master's degree in Leadership, and a post-baccalaureate certificate in Health Information Management. She is a Registered Health Information Administrator and an AHIMA Approved ICD-10-CM/PCS Trainer. Tracy Berry has been a senior graphic designer/programmer, instructor, and consultant since 1993 and has developed hundreds of logos, marketing materials, websites, and multimedia solutions for customers worldwide. She was also involved in several large corporate software rollouts. She has helped many organizations optimize and streamline data solutions. She teaches both onsite and online courses and has her CTT (Certified Technical Trainer) certification. Tracy specializes in teaching graphics, desktop publishing, web design, and reporting/productivity applications.

Job Outlook for Medical Office Managers

According the Bureau of Labor Statistics the demand for medical and health service managers is expected to grow 18% over the next eight years, which equates to over 400,000 new jobs.

The BLS also states that the average salary for these medical and health service managers is just over $100,000. Salary can increase with specialized certifications or knowledge domains.
