PROCESS CHANGE: New Automated SEAF Form Online 8/22/2022

The Office of Human Resources will be replacing the ‘paper’ version of the Student Employee Action Form, (SEAF) with an online form beginning August 22, 2022.

The transition to the online form migrates the current form process from a PDF form submission via email and tracking in the PeopleAdmin system, to an all-in-one program (BP Logix) environment that allows for you to modify, terminate, and track your SEAF requests. 

The benefits of the new form allow for:

  • A better-managed experience for submitters and students.
  • All-in-one submissions and tracking.
  • Bulk uploading of Excel information for larger departments.
  • Automated communications and reminders.

The purpose of this email is to notify you of this upcoming change; however, a few previews are below.  This week and next, additional emails with information and training will be delivered to campus stakeholders. 

The new online form looks the same as the PDF, (click here). 

Once you have ‘submitted’ your request, you will be notified via email and be able to track the status of your request in the BP Logix environment, (click here to view a preview).

The new process will provide you with more email communications on the status of your student hire; as well as monitor their progress.  If there is no action by the student within five days of the date they are invited to accept their appointment, the process will automatically terminate, and a new request will need to be resubmitted.
