In June 2021, UW System Human Resources announced that the Title and Total Compensation Project will be fully implemented beginning on November 7, 2021.  This means that all employees whose titles are in-scope for the project will change in the Human Resources System, (HRS).

UW-La Crosse Human Resources has been reviewing the mapping data over the past several weeks and is in the final stages of confirming the titles to which employees will be mapped.

In April of 2020, UW System placed on hold the TTC project due to COVID.  During that time, UW System continued to review the titles and added several additional titles, which made it necessary for UW-La Crosse Human Resources to review all titles that are in scope for the project to confirm accuracy.

Beginning the week of July 26, 2021 supervisors and campus stakeholders can expect:

  • A revamped UW-La Crosse TTC website, providing timelines and resources for the change
  • Direct communications to supervisors on timelines and communications next steps to employees
  • A release of training dates for supervisors on how to manage the employee-supervisor conversations about new titles
  • Release of the list for each supervisors' employees and their mapped title

Direct communications to employees can be expected in mid-late August.

Collectively the HR Team appreciates the patience of the UW-La Crosse campus stakeholders as we continue to ensure accuracy in this entire process.
