Brief biography

Linda Levinson received her BFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago and an MFA from the University of California at Los Angeles, CA. Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally including: Murray Guy; New York, Wooster Gardens; New York, Lotto Hammer Gallery; London, Contemporary Art Center of South Australia, Rear Window; London, Basilico Fine Art; New York, Here; New York. She has been nominated for a Tiffany Artist Grant, the "No Limit Award" at the Recontres de la Photographie, Arles, France, and she received the “ArtBulletin: Public Art Billboard Project” given by Patrick Media and L.A.C.E., Los Angeles, CA.   Her work has been reviewed in The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, and The Sydney Record and has also appeared in Artforum, Gagosian Quarterly among other publications and is included in the collection of Williams College Museum of Art, Athen’s Cultural Center, Greece and Malo Inc.
