Congratulations to Miranda Panzer, an international student & scholar advisor at UWL, for receiving the 2025 Hong Rost Memorial Leadership Award for Innovation in International Education Student Service at WAIE Summer Seminar on June 26 in Madison, WI. "Our office would be lost without Miranda. Honestly, I don't think international students would survive without her! Miranda is a superstar who goes above and beyond her duties. She wakes up at 4 am to pick students up from the airport – talk about dedication! She's the go-to person for so many students, staff, and faculty. Miranda works way longer than she needs to, and let's be real, probably way too much. But she does it all with a smile and a heart of gold. We are incredibly lucky to have her!"

This session began with the presenters sharing suggestions and ideas of how to develop and/or enhance training for campus colleagues on how to work with, encourage, teach, and support our international students.
