Brief biography

Miranda was born and raised in a small town in central Wisconsin. She loves traveling, cooking, reading, hiking, listening to music, meeting new people and experiencing new cultures. During her undergraduate career, she had the opportunity to study abroad for a year in Frankfurt, Germany at Goethe Universität. Besides studying in Germany, she has traveled to Austria, Belgium, China, Cuba, England, France, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, Scotland, and Switzerland. With the love of travel, she dreams of visiting every country.

This session began with the presenters sharing suggestions and ideas of how to develop and/or enhance training for campus colleagues on how to work with, encourage, teach, and support our international students.

Panzer was recently selected as a 2018 Outstanding Woman in this year's YWCA La Crosse Tribute to Outstanding Women. The Tribute to Outstanding Women dinner and awards will take place at 5 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8 at the La Crosse Center South Hall.
