Technology Requirements

In the interest of public health, the International Death, Grief and Bereavement Conference is offering a virtual event for 2021.  Although we are not able to be with one another in person, we are pleased that we can utilize technology to share, learn and grow with one another.
 
  • This virtual/online event will utilize Whova for the online event platform.
  • Zoom will be the video conferencing tool for scheduled presentations.
  • Registered attendees will receive instructions to access the Whova online platform at the end of May.  If you have not received instructions by June 2, please inform us by contacting ex@uwlax.edu
To access the 2021 International Death, Grief and Bereavement Conference, you will need the following:
 
  • Internet connection
  • One of the following internet-connected devices:
    • Desktop
    • Laptop computer
    • Tablet or mobile device with the Zoom app installed
  • Audio output (either speaker or headset) to hear the video presentations
  • Audio input (microphone) to contribute
  • You don't need a Zoom account, but having the app installed on your device will make your experience easier
