Abdulaziz Elfessi, Mathematics and Statistics; William Schwan, Peter Wilker and Abigail Multerer, all Microbiology; Dr. Gary Gilmore, Public Health & Community Health Education; Jennifer Rombalski and Paula Silha, both La Crosse County Public Health Department; and Loriann Stanislawski, Wisconsin Department of Health and Human Services; co-authored the article "Epidemiological Analysis of Chlamydia and Gonorrhea Cases in La Crosse County, Wisconsin, 2001-2020" in Wisconsin Medical Journal, published on Sept. 11. This project completed by master's student Abigail Multerer was a collaborative endeavor between three UWL departments, as well as community partners from the La Crosse County Public Health Department and the State of Wisconsin Department of Health and Human Services.
