The Center for Advancing Teaching and Learning and the Institute for Social Justice offers an institute on inclusive teaching practices. This one-week immersive experience will allow participants to explore inclusive teaching practices and social justice pedagogies as they work independently on redesigning one course for an upcoming term. Participation carries a $500 stipend and is limited in enrollment.

To apply, please use the forms linked below.

The form will ask you for the following:

  • Name, department/college affiliation
  • Course (name & number) for proposed redesign
  • A short description of some of the concerns you struggle with in this particular course that you are hoping to address with your participation in the institute;
  • A brief paragraph describing the goals for the redesign of this particular course and why you feel it would benefit from adopting more inclusive teaching practices.
