Comprehensive Cardiac Rehabilitation Workshop description

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

You will receive a broad, up-to-date overview of the theory and practice of Phase I (inpatient), Phase II (outpatient), and Phase III (maintenance) cardiac rehabilitation with an emphasis on exercise physiology, pathophysiology, administrative considerations, and patient education. We will take you through all the aspects of a total cardiac rehabilitation program and give you hands-on laboratory experiences with exercise leadership and exercise prescription. This workshop provides 18.5 CECs from ACSM.

COURSE CONTENT

Workshop registration is on Saturday at 8:30 a.m. Complimentary refreshments and snacks will be provided throughout the day. The workshop will end at approximately 1 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon.
