Canvas support
Log in to Canvas
- Select the Canvas icon in the header of the UWL webpage.
- UWL student or employee, enter your UWL email.
- Enter your UWL password.
- Click Sign in.
- Everyone is required to use two-factor authentication (Okta) to access Canvas.
- Graduating students lose Okta and Canvas access at the end of their last term.
- Students not enrolled in a future term are changed to non-attending and lose Okta access. This means they also lose Canvas access.
- If students need to finish work for an incomplete they need to work with their instructor receive materials and to submit work outside of Canvas.

Browser help
Still having trouble logging in? Do your pages look weird?
- Make sure you are trying to log into our campus' Canvas site: uwlac.instructure.com.
- Make sure you are using your UWL login information.
- Clear your browser's cache and cookies.
- Try a different browser, supported browsers (Chrome is recommended, IE 11 is not supported, Safari can have issues with watching videos and submitting assignments).
- Are you out of the country? Check out the list of restricted countries. China is not on this list, but may not function exactly as designed.
- You may need to use VPN to connect to our network before attempting to login.
