Read more about All In Wisconsin Courtney Baker earned an undergraduate degree in environmental biology before pursuing a career with the Wisconsin DNR. She will continue her research on microplastics as a graduate student at UWL this fall. Her work involves collecting water samples from the Upper Mississippi River and analyzing them to determine microplastic content in the lab. She has presented findings at several state conferences including: the Mississippi River Research Consortium, the UWL Symposium, and Research in the Rotunda at the state capitol building.
