Are tickets necessary for guests?
Tickets are not necessary. A maximum of 6 guests per graduating student is recommended.

When does UW-La Crosse hold graduation ceremonies?
Both in the spring (May) and winter (December). The winter commencement ceremony will be held on Sunday, December 20, 2026 at the La Crosse Center.
There will be tone ceremony.
11 a.m. | All graduating students including:
- Associate Degree Candidates
- Bachelor's Degree Candidates
- Graduate Degree Candidates

Doors to the La Crosse Center will open 90 minutes prior to the commencement ceremony's start time.

Where should I park?
Limited on-street parking is available outside the La Crosse Center. Handicapped parking spaces are located throughout the downtown area. Parking is also available in downtown La Crosse parking ramps.

Are beverages allowed at the ceremony?
A variety of beverages are available for purchase inside the arena. Please note that outside beverages are not permitted.

What are the dates and times of future commencements?
Dates and times of future commencement ceremonies will be posted on the commencement website as soon as they are set. If they are not posted there, they have not yet been set.
