Healthcare Analytics Management Minor provides one career path into this exciting industry. Healthcare organizations collect extensive amounts of data, and healthcare analysts work with this data for effective decision-making. The average base salary for a healthcare analyst is approximately $64,000 per year, and often lead to managerial and leadership positions in the organization.
The minor includes 21 credits of healthcare and analytics courses (six credits from the major can be double counted). Upon completion this program, students will be able to:
- Solve healthcare problems through data-analysis
- Present research findings effectively to other decision-makers
- Execute business management practices (e.g., leadership, teamwork and quality improvement) within healthcare organizations
- Understand the U.S. Healthcare system
