A page within New Student & Family Programs

Welcome to the Eagle family!

We are excited that you and your student are a part of the community here at UWL and want to tell you about some ways that you can be involved in their experience on-campus.

As a parent/guardian of a UWL student, you are automatically a member of the Parent Association. You also have the opportunity to apply to be a part of the Parent Advisory Board or serve as a Parent Ambassador. The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse Parent Advisory Board is a group of current parents who are committed to investing in UWL and its future by serving in an advisory capacity as we prepare our students for lifelong success. Members of the Parent Advisory Board serve in a leadership role through participation and service. The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse Parent Ambassadors have the opportunity to volunteer at events for their fellow parents as well as for newly admitted students/families.

Through your active engagement, you are making a direct impact on your student’s experience at UWL.

Parent leaders are an integral component of the vibrant experience we offer our students, and parent engagement is critical as our students seek internships and embark on meaningful careers after graduation.

We would like to encourage you to be a part of the experience and apply today! Please click the buttons below for more information and the application.
