Treble Chorus expanding section

  • 45-member chorus for treble voices
  • Freshmen-senior membership
  • Auditions for section placement
  • 2-4 concerts per semester
  • outstanding treble literature
  • regional spring tours
Choral Union expanding section

Conducted by Dr. Christopher Hathaway

  • 90-110 member symphony chorus
  • student / community membership
  • 1 concert per semester
  • Monday evening (7 p.m.) rehearsal
  • major works often programmed
  • Fall and Spring semester
  • Voice Preview Night to be announced
Contemporary/Jazz Vocal Ensemble expanding section

Coached by Dr. Liz Pearse

  • Flexible roster of 3-12 vocalists
  • Informal audition process
  • Interested musicians welcome, whether or not voice is your major instrument
  • Singing chamber music from a range of contemporary styles – from jazz to experimental
  • 2-4 performances per season
  • Rehearse Thursdays at 5PM with coach; regular independent rehearsals TBA
  • Includes vocal improvisation, collaborative composition, and one-on-a-part music making!
