COVID-19 Update

Our operational status

  • The Records and Registration Office will be working remotely on Wednesday, Nov 25th. Please contact us by phone or email on the 25th.
  • The office will be closed Thursday, Nov 26th, and Friday, Nov 27th, for the Thanksgiving holiday. Transcripts ordered during this time will be processed the Monday after.
  • After the holiday, the Records and Registration Office will be available during normal business hours, 7:45am - 4:30pm, Mon-Fri, and recommend that you contact us by phone (608.785.8951 or 608.7825-8952) or email ( 
  • If it is absolutely necessary to come in person, please note that wearing a mask is required inside Graff Main Hall. Complimentary masks are located at the entrances.
  • Ordering electronic transcripts online is available 24-7. Please see our Transcripts Request page for the link.
  • If the health situation requires our minimal office staff to return to working from home, there may be a delay in processing transcript requests for students who attended UWL prior to 1991, transcript requests mailed in, or requests for transcripts to be mailed out through regular postal mail. This applies to duplicate diploma requests as well.

  • Confirming academic eligibility for student athletes

Family Educational Rights & Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA) provides that, with certain explicit exceptions, students have the right to determine who will see their educational records (confidentiality) and students have the right to see their education records (accessibility).
