Tips for new freshmen/incoming students:

“My advice to incoming freshmen would be push out of your comfort zone and just get involved in whatever you can. Try new things, things you may never have thought you would be interested in. You'll meet so many new people and often you'll be surprised by how much you enjoy your experiences. Be open and make the most of your first year.”

What is your proudest moment at UW-La Crosse?

“I think one of my proudest moments was when I got my final grades back after my first semester of college. I managed a 4.0 that semester which I was pretty proud of. It wasn't a super big or pivotal moment, but it kind of hit me. It was an "I can do this" moment. It had taken me a while to adjust to college and it was a little surprising at the greater workload and difficulty, but after receiving my final grades it was just a kind of encouragement letting me know that I was ready and I was going to do just fine.”
