My courses and experiences in the CBA have prepared me immensely for my work after college. From interactive projects and simulations to my time as a CBA Ambassador, everything has added to my skill set to succeed in my new role.

The program that prepared me most for my future role was the Integrated Core Program (ICP). It gave me hands-on experience working on real-world projects in a fast-paced, team-driven environment. I’m especially grateful for how the program pushed me outside my comfort zone and helped me discover my passion for project management.

UWL has given me the skills and experiences I need to succeed in the Financial Technology industry. Through my classes, internships, and involvement on campus, I’ve learned how important it is to stay adaptable, build meaningful connections, and remain true to who I am. Every opportunity at UWL has helped shape who I am today.

In the Healthcare Analytics Management minor, I personally got to know two professors who helped me receive three internships in the healthcare industry. Gaining analytical experience with the internships and having my professors as references gave me a competitive edge and led to me finding a job as a data analyst.

The minor has taught me new ways of understanding business including its interconnectedness with natural and social environments. I’m truly grateful for creating lasting connections with mentors, professors and peers; applying learned knowledge in service projects; and securing a post-graduation career through the program.
