The project should be approved by the State Building Commission in October 2025.
The bid documents will be release around November 1, 2025.
Bids will be due around December 1, 2025, and December 15, 2025.
This should mean a start of construction around February 15, 2026, approximately.
We will be asking all Cowley departments to have all materials packed and ready to move by December 31, 2025.
Over J Term, we will move materials to new temporary spaces, or to long term storage, depending on the need of the departments.
Preparing for the Move
Departments can request boxes and packing materials by emailing Scott Schumacher; sschumacher@uwlax.edu
Departments wanting to box materials early can ask for them to be moved out of the way at any time. We will need to know the destination, short term or long-term storage.
