Free Public Talk: Reimagining the Family Caregiver Experience

Caring for someone living with Alzheimer's disease or another form of dementia can be one of life's most meaningful experiences—but it can also be physically, emotionally, and mentally demanding. The daily responsibilities of caregiving, combined with the emotional challenges of watching a loved one's condition change over time, can leave caregivers feeling overwhelmed, isolated, and at risk for burnout.

Learn how to recognize the signs of caregiver burnout and discover practical strategies to care for yourself while continuing to provide compassionate, person-centered care. You will explore:

  • The causes, warning signs, and impact of family caregiver burnout
  • Why self-care is essential—not selfish—for long-term caregiving
  • Practical techniques to reduce stress and build resilience
  • Strategies for balancing caregiving responsibilities with your own physical and emotional well-being
  • Resources and support services available to family caregivers
  • Ways to create a sustainable caregiving plan that benefits both you and your loved one

Free & open to the public!

Your RSVP will help us to provide accessible in-person and online accommodations.
