Learning Opportunities for Grades 5–8

Graduate & Extended Learning invites elementary and middle school students to explore the UWL campus and benefit from all it has to offer! Students will examine new concepts and gain skills in a supportive, engaging, and fun environment that fosters creativity and innovation.

We encourage:

  • Parents and guardians of school-age learners to check out our youth camps and workshops.
  • Teachers and homeschool providers to incorporate the Science & Math Expo or Kids' College into their curriculum planning.

Programs for teachers, homeschool providers and their students

Incorporate UW-La Crosse-led programming into your curriculum and provide your students with experience on a college campus.

Students really enjoyed...

"...sharing their projects and having adults ask them questions and be interested in what they did. They liked being a part of the larger scientific community outside of their own school."
