Rainbow Unity

Rainbow Unity (RU):

Rainbow Unity is the gender and sexually diverse group here on campus. It provides lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, intersex, aromantic individuals, asexual individuals pansexual, two spirit individuals, (LGBTQQIAAP2S+), their allies, QPOC (Queer People of Color), and students with LGBT parents, with a safe environment, emotional and social support, and opportunities to develop leadership and communication skills. RU collaborates with the Pride Center, Eagle Equity Committee, Campus Climate Office and the Diversity Organizations Coalition to provide the campus and community with educational opportunities regarding LGBTQQIAAP2S+ issues. We do a variety of things in our meetings, such as educational exercises on things like intersectionality, healthy habits, relationships, and coping mechanisms, but we also things with more of a fun note such as slack lining, tie dye, face scrubs, and various crafts! We are an incredibly open, fun, and welcoming group and we hope to see you on Tuesdays!

We meet every Tuesday at 7:00pm in the Pride Center.
