Laboratory work is often performed behind the scenes and goes unnoticed, but a career in Clinical Laboratory Science is extremely rewarding. Having experienced my clinical internship year in the midst of a pandemic, the importance of the work we do is quite evident.

The Microbiology Department is incredibly dedicated to students’ future endeavors. They take the time to teach the details of valuable technical skills. These skills directly translate to competence in the workplace and are quickly noticed by employers.

Not only is the job outlook incredibly favorable for Clinical Laboratory Science graduates, but the program does a great job setting one up for success in a challenging yet rewarding way. All of the students in my internship class had accepted job offers before we graduated.
