Spring 2026 - Billing & Payment Timeline

January 22, 2026 and January 23, 2026	*Financial Aid Refunds Issued* Refunds from financial aid awards are distributed.
January 23, 2026	*Spring Bill Generated* First billing statement is emailed to your UWL email after 5 p.m. from StudentAR@uwlax.edu.
January 26, 2026	*First Day of Classes*
February 6, 2026	*Spring Bill Due* Payment is due by the 10th day of class.
February 7, 2026	*Finance Charges Begin* Finance charges begin accruing on unpaid balances based on the daily outstanding balance paid after the due date of February 6, 2026.
February 9, 2026	*2nd Bill Sent* Second billing statement is emailed to your UWL email, showing outstanding charges, payments, and any new charges.
March 11, 2026	*Payment Due (if not already paid or new charges added)*.
March 12, 2026	*3rd Bill Sent* Third billing statement is emailed to your UWL email. Includes prior balance, new charges, and finance charges for unpaid items by the invoice due date of February 6, 2026. Check your WINGS account for the most current info.
March and April 2026	*Summer & Fall Registration Opens* Check your WINGS account and pay any outstanding balance. You may register if your balance is $499 or less. Holds placed on accounts with balances over $500.
April 13, 2026	*Payment Due (if not already paid or new charges added)*
April 14, 2026	*Final Bill of the Semester Sent* Final spring billing statement is emailed to your UWL email. Includes prior balance, new charges, and finance charges.
May 11, 2026 through May 15, 2026	*Final Exams*
May 13, 2026	*Final Payment Due* All remaining Spring semester charges must be paid in full. Log in to your WINGS Student Center to confirm your balance is $0.
May 14, 2026	Finance charges added for Spring.

Summer 2025

May 6, 2025 to May 23, 2025	Charges are posted to WINGS for Summer semester.
May 21, 2025	Financial aid posts to WINGS for Summer semester.
May 23, 2025	The Summer bill is generated for those students who registered for classes prior to May 23, 2025. The notification is emailed to the student's WINGS account after 5 p.m. The email comes from StudentAR@uwlax.edu.
May 26, 2025	Memorial Day - UWL is closed.
May 27, 2025	Classes begin - Summer Session I
June 9, 2025	SUMMER BILL IS DUE TODAY - Monday.
June 10, 2025	The second bill is generated and includes new charges and/or previous unpaid balance. Finance charges will begin to accrue daily on past due balances.
June 23, 2025	Classes begin-Summer Session II
July 11, 2025	The second bill is due - Friday.
July 14, 2025	Final bill is generated. Finance charges will be applied.
July 21, 2025	Classes begin-Summer Session III
August 12, 2025	FINAL SUMMER BILL IS DUE TODAY-Tuesday.
August 13, 2025	Finance charges added of 1.50%.

August 29, 2025	*Fall Bill Generated* First billing statement is emailed to your UWL email after 5 p.m. from StudentAR@uwlax.edu.
September 2, 2025	*First Day of Classes*
September 15, 2025	*Fall Bill Due* Payment is due by the 10th day of class.
September 16, 2025	*Finance Charges Begin + 2nd Bill Sent* Finance charges begin accruing on unpaid balances based on the daily outstanding balance paid after the due date of September 15, 2025. Second billing statement is emailed to your UWL email, showing outstanding charges, payments, and any new charges.
October 14, 2025	*Payment Due (if not already paid or new charges added)*
October 15, 2025	*3rd Bill Sent* Third billing statement is emailed to your UWL email. Includes prior balance, new charges, and finance charges for unpaid items by the invoice due date of September 15, 2025. Check your WINGS account for the most current info.
November	*Winter & Spring Registration Opens* Check your WINGS account and pay any outstanding balance. You may register if your balance is $499 or less. Holds placed on accounts with balances over $500.
November 13, 2025	*Payment Due (if not already paid or new charges added)*
November 14, 2025	*Final Bill of the Semester Sent* Final fall billing statement is emailed to your UWL email. Includes prior balance, new charges, and finance charges.
December 12, 2025 to December 17, 2025	*Final Exams*
December 15, 2025	*Final Payment Due* All remaining Fall semester charges must be paid in full. Log in to your WINGS Student Center to confirm your balance is $0.
