Accessibility information for Graduates & Guests
Graduates, If you require accommodations to participate, please email your request to Graduate & Extended Learning at ex@uwlax.edu. To help us meet your needs, we encourage you to submit requests as early as possible, preferably at least one week in advance.
Guests
- Accessible seating: We reserve a section to accommodate those with accessible seating needs. Our excellent staff are present upon your arrival to personally assist in directing you to accessible seating areas. The La Crosse Center is equipped with elevators and wheelchairs should there be a need. Simply request this of our welcome staff upon arrival.
- Deaf or Hard of Hearing: We offer assisted-listening devices to use during the ceremony. Please request this of our welcome staff upon arrival. We will also have captioning visible on the screen and a sign-language interpreter present. Please ensure you arrive early to secure a seat with a good view of the big screens.
- At this time, we do not caption or finger spell each graduate's name. If you would like your graduate’s name finger spelled, please contact Graduate & Extended Learning in advance at ex@uwlax.edu.
