Any UWL student! 69% of University of Wisconsin students report experiencing financial difficulties while enrolled. We are committed to ensuring you feel supported and know that you are not navigating challenges by yourself.

Where can I find support for household goods, furniture, and school supplies? updated

Check out the UWL Eagles Helping Eagles program, which is administered by the UWL Financial Aid Office and provides donated new/gently used household goods, furniture, and school related supplies to students in need.

How can I receive assistance with my personal finances and financial wellness? updated

It Make$ Cents!, with the Center for Money Management & Scholarship Resources, is a financial literacy program at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse that addresses the financial concerns of students that are unique to college life. It aims at equipping students with the knowledge, skills and resources necessary to integrate and maintain lifelong financial wellness. The initiative provides programming and one-on-one consultations upon request. Students learn important aspects of financial wellness including information about scholarships, affording college, credit, and budgeting.
