SRCEL-Sponsored Presentation Venues
Non-Credit Microcredential & Digital Badge
Students who present at a SRCEL-sponsored venue will qualify for either UWL's Undergraduate Research Scholar or Undergraduate Artistic Scholar non-credit microcredential (NCMC). The NCMC can be included on transcripts and also provides a digital badge that can be added to online resumes, LinkedIn profiles, email signatures, etc. The badge’s metadata will include information about the practical skills that students have gained from their research and/or creative experience. Students can expect to receive an email from Extended Learning (ex@uwlax.edu) to their personal email and will have to "opt-in" to receive the NCMC and badge.
