Welcome to the LRC!
The Language Resource Center (LRC) is a multi-purpose learning space dedicated to global cultures and language education.
We are located at 321 Graff Main Hall next to the offices of the Department of Global Cultures & Languages.

Monday - Thursday | 10am - 6pm |
Friday | 10am - 3pm |
Saturday - Sunday | Closed |
The LRC is closed during Winter and Summer breaks. We reopen starting the second week of classes each Fall and Spring semester.
Mission of the LRC
The mission of the LRC is to:
- Design and implement interactive and communicative programs in collaboration with language instructors that support and complement class curriculum: conversation partners program, student peer-to-peer language learning support, telecollaborative initiatives, and more.
- Conceive student-centered activities and exposure focused on applied language use and cultural experiences.
- Develop connections and collaborations between various UWL colleges and departments, implementing interdisciplinary activities and events that intersect with cultures and languages.
- Create cultural outreach initiatives and resource sharing through collaborations and networking with La Crosse community members, including the local school system.
