Study Education and Psychology in China
Typically every other summer; next trip, summer of 2027.
This two-course, faculty-led program in Luoyang, China, offers students the opportunity to immerse themselves in Chinese culture while enrolled in courses that explore education within a global society and better understand the lifespan of human development.
Through placements in and observations of Chinese students in primary and middle schools, students will explore eastern and western perspectives on human development and education.
Students will also visit Beijing and X'ian as part of the program.
Special Considerations:
- Students may be eligible to receive scholarships (I-Engage, UWL Foundations, Financial Aid, API Program).
- Open to all students in the School of Education.

- EDS 309 (Global Perspectives in Education)
- PSY 212 (Lifespan Development)
Application & Selection Process
- Applications are processed through International Education and Engagement.
- Students should complete the application by December of the year preceding the experience.
